Gaurav is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and began his post-qualification experience in 2002 with the Big 4 in international tax and corporate tax advisory.
 
Through the years, he has assisted various multinationals in devising their strategy to enter Indian markets, acquisition of businesses and corporate restructuring of operations. The role included advisory in various transactions across technology startups, pharmaceuticals, automobile manufacturing, online e-commerce companies, logistics, manufacturing and financial services.
In India, he has represented clients in various tax proceedings such as the Appellate Tribunal (ITAT), Authority for Advance Rulings (AAR), Dispute Resolution Panel (DRP) and Advance Pricing Arrangement (APA).
 
For 2022 – 2023, Gaurav has been nominated as a Special Invitee of the Committee on International Taxation of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
He is frequently invited by various institutions to publicly speak on corporate and international tax and trains numerous individuals under these segments.
