Farad K. Lakdawala is a fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He was placed in the nation-wide merit list in the final examination of the Institute held in May 1985. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner from the United States of America. Farad has over 3 decades of experience in diverse fields of the profession having worked in Oman, USA and the UAE. He was a partner with the UAE offices of BDO from 1991 to 2001, and has been a partner of Moore Stephens, UAE since 2002. His industry experience comprises manufacturing, contracting, financial services, construction, real estate and hospitality. Farad has expertise in the areas of auditing, fraud examination, corporate finance, compliance, litigation support, business process reviews, risk management and management consultancy services. He also leads a team which provides outsourced compliance and corporate services to clients and is also experienced in complex financial modelling and analysis, conducting training programmes and in implementation of professional standards.
